LEWIS -  TRAINER

After playing for a professional football club in England as a young man I moved to Jersey and started my career as a personal trainer. My experience in that elite sporting environment taught me training techniques that foster results fast. 

I soon developed a passion for achieving results with my clientele which in turn grew my business and reputation. I truly love what I do and I believe that shines through in my training with versatile and exhilarating sessions.

I can help provide you with the knowledge and mindset it takes to achieve your goals, whether that be in sport at the highest level or simply adopting a healthier, more active lifestyle.

ADAM - TRAINER

I have been fortunate enough to have gained a vast experience within health, fitness and sporting environments across an abundance of disciplines. From a young age to present I have explored many sports and training styles, having competed at various levels from school and club level right up to national level. Never scared of a physical challenge, I took on a career as an elite soldier and became a Royal Marines Commando. Following my military career, I have continued an active lifestyle working as a firefighter and continuing to deliver instructional fitness sessions to groups. My style and delivery of instruction is professional, sympathetic and tough as you would expect considering my career history. 

 

GEMMA - WELLBEING & PERFORMANCE

I am an Elite track athlete, wellbeing mentor & performance coach who is passionate about empowering people to help themselves fulfil their potential and be their best. With an aim to bridge the gap between wellbeing and performance, I founded 'Lifestyle Choice" my mentor and coaching service, aimed at supporting people to take control of fuelling their mind and body to achieve their goals, and maximise their personal wellbeing.

 I have always been driven to be the best I can be. But, unfortunately despite having the winning mindset and the determination to do what it takes to achieve my goals, this came at a cost to my overall Wellbeing. 

Having started athletics at the age of 6, I grew to quickly understand the importance of putting the right fuel in the body in order for it to function at it's best. 

Putting my running shoes a side, off the track my passion lies in the field of Psychology. Helping people to understand themselves and the world around them, to enable them to fulfil their potential and maximise their personal wellbeing. Having studied Psychology at University, and gone on to specialise in the field of Autism as a Researcher & Mentor, I realised the enormous potential that a person-centered approach to support can have on helping an individual to develop the necessary skills to achieve their goals. 

VANESSA - YOGA

I started Yoga initially as a means of supporting my love of running.  Initially, I saw each pose as a competition to go deeper, further or to find the elusive ideal of perfection. 

Following a knee injury I found myself with a body that no longer felt good and failed to respond to my endless demands.

Forced to slow down, it was at this point I finally learnt to appreciate what Yoga was really about.  I stopped practicing as an athlete and stopped simply going through the motions of each pose.  I learnt instead to practice as a Yogi; finding peace, acceptance and the ability to slow down!

Completing my 200hr Yoga Teaching Training in Nicaragua my approach to teaching comes with authenticity, enthusiasm to keep it fun and to promote acceptance of body and mind.  I love to support yogis through all levels of their yoga journey through cultivating clarity, confidence and ensuring Yoga is accessible to all.

REECE - MUAY THAI / TRAINER 

I was lucky enough to have an extremely successful career in professional Muay Thai, earning a number or titles along the way. I now take tremendous pride in passing on that knowledge and understanding, of performance at the highest level, to my clients and helping them achieve their goals.

MICHAEL - MUAY THAI / TRAINER 

It’s safe to say that I live and breath the sport of Muay Thai, and have earned a reputation through pure commitment at both the national and world stages; fighting my way through the ranks to become a British champion and competing against world champions in the sport.

The road to becoming a Muay Thai boxing champion isn't easy, and it’s forced me to assess my lifestyle choices and make sacrifices along the way. 

Having learned the hard way, I now take pride in sharing the values and expertise I’ve learned along the way to help others achieve their goals and instil in them the disclipline needed to progess.

My time in Thailand and competing on a world stage has taught me that it’s all worth it in the end, and whether you’re a beginner or an experienced fighter, we will tailor each training session to fit your individual needs.

 

NATASHA - NUTRITIONIST/ PILATES

As a registered Nutritional Therapist I provide practical Nutritional Advice to support people’s busy lifestyles, and offer corporate wellness programs including Nutritional talks and workshops.  

After studying Nutrition at University, I became fascinated in how food could have such a profound effect on peoples emotional and physical health and wellbeing, and continue to keep up to date with new developments in Nutrition.

I am a member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT), the professional body for Nutritional Therapists.

As a writer I get to research about the latest developments in food and health, and develop recipes and do food photography, focusing on mood foods.  I write a blog called www.Truemoodfood.com, which focuses on how different foods can effect your mood.

Teaching Pilates has enabled me to recognise that doing certain exercises helps people to gain greater flexibility and strength, and is particularly helpful in resolving back issues, and improving posture.

I teach Pilates at a number of different venues in Jersey www.Nutrifyme.com.

MEGAN - SURF COACH / TRAINER

Having grown up at the beach, surfing for me quickly became second nature and has always been a huge part of my life. My love of surfing has propelled me to compete at both British and European levels.

I spent the last 2 winters travelling around the world surfing and acting as a photographer/film maker to a professional surfer, and recently returned from a trip to Tahiti which really opened my eyes to the more spiritual side of surfing.

The locals share a respect for other surfers in the water, and allow anyone from any level the chance to have their turn. For me, this signifies the true meaning of the sport, as a community, and as a lifestyle. 

Teaching surfing is extremely rewarding for both me as an instructor and the learner. It's an experience like no other, and I love the fact that anyone can give it a go. It's a fun way to stay fit and challenge your body by working multiple muscle groups simultaneously.
